How nurturGROW outperforms a leading competitor

UK

Key Facts

  • Power consumption down by 5%

  • 124% greater light output

  • Over 40% more effective for crops

How the testing is carried out

We carry out all our tests inside a purpose-built 22 meter bespoke light tunnel using our 2021 SSL Spectral Photo Goniometer.

Operating to BS EN 13032/Part 4 and LM79/08 and Laboratory procedures 17025, we can accurately measure PAR (400nm-700nm) Quantum PAR (250nm-1040nm) and CIE.*

This helps us measure light intensity distributions of different kinds of light sources to give you confidence in the performance of your lighting solution.

The equipment provides us with:

Spatial luminous intensity distribution (IES / LDT files)

Luminous flux and efficacy

PAR (400nm-700nm) Quantum PAR (250nm-1040nm) measurements

Input power and power factor

Spatial colour uniformity (SDCM)

Total correlated colour temperature (CCT), colour rendering index (CRI) and spectral radiant flux distribution

*The SSL goniophotometers follow the CIE S 025 and IES LM-79-08 standards.
