At Light Science Technologies, we exist to solve one of the biggest challenges in modern agriculture: how to grow more, with less.
We design and deliver controlled environment agriculture (CEA) technology that gives growers complete control over their environment. From advanced LED grow lighting to real-time sensor data and fully automated climate control, our systems are built to improve yield, reduce waste, and simplify complex growing operations. All to tackle food security concerns in the current climates.

Our Mission
Farming has always come with uncertainty, but the pressures facing growers today are more complex than ever.
Rising input costs, from fertilisers to energy and labour, are putting margins under constant strain. At the same time, increasingly unpredictable weather patterns are making it harder to plan, manage, and maintain consistent yields.
Beyond the farm itself, global supply chains are becoming less reliable. Geopolitical tensions and international conflicts continue to disrupt the availability and cost of key resources, leaving growers exposed to factors far outside their control.
We believe the answer is greater control.
By bringing more of the growing process in-house, supported by intelligent systems and reliable infrastructure, growers can reduce reliance on external variables and build more resilient operations. From managing inputs more precisely to maintaining stable growing conditions, technology plays a key role in restoring that control.
Our focus is to support growers across the UK and internationally in doing exactly that. Helping them produce more, with greater consistency, and with less exposure to the challenges that are shaping modern agriculture.

In 2023, Light Science Technologies brought Tomtech into the business.
Tomtech has over 37 years of experience in greenhouse control systems, trusted by commercial growers across the UK. Their systems are responsible for managing everything from temperature and humidity to irrigation, dosing, and ventilation.
By combining Tomtech’s control expertise with LST’s lighting and sensor technology, we now deliver a true end-to-end solution:
