PC Link 3 Interface
The PCI3 intelligent interface is designed for growers and operators who need a reliable link between a TomTech control system and a PC. It enables clear, stable communication while providing full electrical isolation between the PC and the control systems, helping protect equipment and maintain dependable operation across the site.
The interface supports direct PC connectivity via either RS232 serial or USB, with two bidirectional communication options available for use as required.
On the control system side, the PCI3 includes three independent TomTech communication loops, allowing multiple systems to be connected and managed efficiently. By distributing control systems across these loops, data transfer rates can be improved on larger or more complex installations.
Where multiple weather stations are installed on a single site, the PCI3 can separate communication paths to prevent weather data being shared between loops. This avoids cross-communication issues and removes the need for multiple interfaces. A clear front panel display provides at-a-glance information on loop status, active alarms or warnings, and configuration settings, making system monitoring simpler for operators and technicians.
Installed and supported by TomTech / Light Science Technologies technicians, the PCI3 fits neatly into both new and existing control system setups and can be supplied as part of a wider installation or as a standalone component.
